【摘要】:Athightemperaturesaviationturbinefuelscanoxidizeandproduceinsolubledepositsthataredetrimentaltoaircraftpropulsionsystems.Verylowcopperconcentrations(inexcessof50x03BC;g/kg)cansignificantlyacceleratethisthermalinstabilityofaviationturbinefuel.Navalshipboardaviationfueldeliverysystemscontaincopper-nickelpiping,whichcanincreasecopperlevelsinthefuel.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforqualitychecksofcopperlevelsinaviationfuelsamplestakenonshipboard,inrefineries,andatfuelstoragedepots.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofcopperinjetfuelsintherangeof5to100g/kgusinggraphitefurnaceatomicabsorptionspectrometry.Coppercontentsabove100g/kgmaybedeterminedbysampledilutionwithkerosinetobringthecopperlevelintotheaforementionedmethodrange.Whensampledilutionisused,theprecisionstatementsdonotapply.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
