【摘要】:Thedynamicmodulusofelasticityprovidedbythesetestmethodsisafundamentalpropertyfortheconfigurationtested.Thisvaluecanberelatedtostaticandotherdynamicmoduliofelasticityasmeasuredonthesameconfiguration.5.1.1Therapidityandeaseofapplicationofthesetestmethodsfacilitateitsuseasasubstituteforstaticmeasurements.5.1.2Dynamicmodulusofelasticityisoftenusedforsurveys,forsegregationoflumberfortestpurposes,andtoprovideindicationofenvironmentalorprocessingeffect.Themodulusofelasticity,whethermeasuredstaticallyordynamically,isoftenausefulpredictorvariabletosuggestorexplainpropertyrelationships.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheflexuralstiffnessandmodulusofelasticitypropertiesofwood-basedmaterialsbynondestructivetestingusingtransversevibrationintheverticaldirection.1.2Thetestmethodsarelimitedtospecimenshavingsolid,rectangularsections.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
