【摘要】:Thispracticemaybeusedforserviceevaluation,development,research,andspecificationacceptance.Thetestswillproducesignificantresultsonlyifthecontrolisthesameproductastheribbonbeingtested.Thispracticedoesnotestablishastandardorimposelimits,butprovidesameansofassigningcausesandcomparingresults.1.1Thispracticecoverstwotestscomparingtheamountofflakeoffilmtypewriterribbons.1.2Ashorttestisrecommendedforpartiallyusedribbonswhereflakeissuspected.1.3Alongtestisrecommendedforusewithunusedribbonsthatcanbetestedintheirentirety.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
