【摘要】:Thisstandardappliestoenclosuresforelectricalequipmentintendedtobeinstalledandusedinnon-hazardouslocationsinaccordancewiththeCanadianElectricalCode,PartI,CSAC22.1,theprovisionsoftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70,andtheprovisionsofMexico'sElectricalInstallations,NOM-001-SEDE,asfollows:Enclosuresforindoorlocations,Types1,2,5,12,12K,and13;andEnclosuresforindoororoutdoorlocations,Types3,3R,3S,4,4X,6,and6P.Thisstandardcoversthenon-environmentalconstructionandperformancerequirementsforenclosurestoprovideadegreeofprotectiontopersonnelagainstincidentalcontactwiththeenclosedequipment.TheadditionalenvironmentalconstructionandperformancerequirementsforenclosuresarelocatedinC22.2No.94.2,UL50E,andNMX-J-235/2-ANCE(SeeAnnexb,Ref.No.14),whichareintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwiththisstandard.Whereanindividualproductstandardcontainsrequirementsthatareatvariancewiththoseofthisstandard,therequirementsoftheindividualproductstandardtakeprecedence.IntheUnitedStatesandMexico,cabinetsandcutoutboxesandjunctionandpullboxesarecoveredbyClauses9and10ofthisStandard.InCanada,junctionboxes,cutoutboxes,andpullboxesarecoveredbyCSAC22.2No.40andarenotcoveredbythisstandard.SeeAnnexb,Ref.No.11.1.5Outletboxeshavingavolumeofnotmorethan1640cm3(100in3)arecoveredbyCSAC22.2No.18,NMX-J-023/1-ANCE,andtheUL514series(seeAnnexb,Ref.No.6and12)andarenotcoveredbythisstandard.1.6InCanadaandtheUnitedStates,swimmingpooltypejunctionboxesarecoveredbyCSAC22.2No.89andUL1241(seeAnnexb,Ref.No.10)andarenotcoveredbythisstandard.
